Renewable Energy
22 November 2007
Decision makers gained
valuable insight into the future of renewable energy during the
inaugural seminar in the Critical Horizons series.
Renowned experts Ray Willis,
Cliff Jones, Matthew Keys, Mike Dymond and Matthew Rosser presented
energy alternatives such as solar, geo-thermal, wind, wave and
bio-energy.
“The
seminar explored the use of renewable options in an increasingly
carbon constrained energy environment,” South West Development
Commission regional coordinator Alan Cross said.
“It
reviewed the contribution “renewables” can make to the energy needs
of Western Australia, the cost, the constraints and the latest
technological breakthroughs.”
